The 2018 Giro d'Italia entourage and organisation travel around with the riders. The team buses park within an enclosed and restricted area. An expo type village is created at the start of each one of the stages. It is usually here that everyone who is linked in any way to the Giro like TV, sponsors and celebrities from the cycling world will show themselves. Also local companies will be keen to show off their wares. This VIP-accreditation will give you access to the Hospitality Area located closest to the stage where the riders will sign on for the days stage.
Every morning at sunrise for 21 days, there is a new start of Giro d’Italia. In the beautiful squares of the cities that host the start, there is the Start Village where the athletes assemble each morning along with sponsors and organization management before they set off.
