From the shores of Lago Maggiore to the spectacular landscapes of Lake Como, this journey combines guided cycling, Italian hospitality, beautiful four-star hotels and the excitement of watching the world’s best professional cyclists compete in the Giro d’Italia.

Tour highlights
Our Go4Cycling team welcomes you at Milan Malpensa Airport before transferring you to our first four-star hotel in Meina, on the shores of beautiful Lago Maggiore.
After checking in and preparing the bikes, we head out for our first cycling experience along the lake, passing charming villages and enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Discovery Ride: approximately 40 km, following the lakeside roads towards Arona and Stresa.
Challenge Ride: approximately 70 km, with an additional loop through the rolling hills overlooking Lago Maggiore.
In the evening, we enjoy a welcome dinner and introduce the exciting programme for the coming days.
Accommodation: Hotel Bel Sit **** – Meina.
Today we discover the beautiful roads of Piemonte, combining scenic cycling with our first planned encounter with the Giro d’Italia.
Depending on the final race route, we aim to visit a stage start or select an accessible location along the route where guests can experience the atmosphere of the professional peloton.
Discovery Ride: approximately 45 km through the hills and villages surrounding Lago Maggiore.
Challenge Ride: approximately 80–90 km, including additional climbing towards the Mottarone foothills or another scenic Piemonte route.
Our support vehicle will provide refreshments and assistance during the day.
After the Giro experience, we return to the hotel for dinner.
Accommodation: Hotel Bel Sit **** – Meina.
After breakfast, we leave Lago Maggiore and travel towards Lombardia and the beautiful Lake Como region.
Today’s ride explores the rolling countryside of Brianza, with quiet roads, traditional villages and scenic viewpoints.
Discovery Ride: approximately 45–50 km through the Brianza countryside.
Challenge Ride: approximately 80–90 km, including additional hills and a longer route towards the Lake Como area.
Depending on the Giro d’Italia route, we aim to include a roadside race passage during the day.
Our luggage will be transported to our second hotel, where we spend the next three nights.
Accommodation: Hotel Il Corazziere **** – Merone.
Today is dedicated to one of the most exciting possible Giro experiences of the week: a mountain stage in Lombardia.
If the anticipated stage towards the Piani di Bobbio area is confirmed, we will position ourselves at an accessible viewing location along the route, avoiding heavily congested summit roads and restricted finish areas.
Discovery Ride: approximately 40–50 km through the valleys and villages of the Lecco region.
Challenge Ride: approximately 70–85 km, with additional climbing in the Valsassina area, subject to road closures.
We aim to enjoy the race from a carefully selected roadside location where we can watch the riders battle for position before the decisive final kilometres.
After the stage, we return to our hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening together.
Accommodation: Hotel Il Corazziere **** – Merone.
Today we ride some of the most famous cycling roads in Lombardia.
The highlight is the legendary Madonna del Ghisallo, a climb deeply connected to Italian cycling history.
Discovery Ride: approximately 40–50 km, featuring a scenic route around the Lake Como and Brianza area, with a more accessible climbing option.
Challenge Ride: approximately 80–90 km, including the Madonna del Ghisallo and additional climbing around the famous roads of the Giro di Lombardia.
We may visit the cycling sanctuary and museum at Ghisallo, subject to opening hours.
If the Giro d’Italia passes within a practical distance, we will adapt the day’s schedule to include another live race experience.
In the evening, we celebrate our final night with a special farewell dinner.

After breakfast, we check out and transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flights.
Guests continuing with our Giro Final Mountain Week will join the next part of the adventure in the Italian Alps.

The programme is provisional and will be adapted following the official announcement of the Giro d’Italia 2027 route. Race viewing locations, cycling distances and hotel arrangements remain subject to confirmation.
Minimum participation: 5 paying guests. If fewer than 5 guests are booked by 1 January 2027 and Go4Cycling cancels the trip, all deposits already paid will be refunded in full.
